Stamp With Fun #117 Lilac and Creme

Hey guys I'm back with another creation for Stamp With Fun.I'm trying to catch up on my commenting and visiting my buddies.I had a long weekend and so tiring.I just got here from another fishing trip with the kids.

MY SON CAUGHT A SNAPPING TURTLE LOL!! He was dad I got a little fish so he's bringing it in.My husband goes OH IT'S A TURTLE!! This turtle ended up being the size of ..... I guess a full size watermelon or even maybe two lol!
We had so many people coming over yelling because the size was ridiculous lol!OF COURSE I FORGOT MY CAMERA:( GRRRRR! Even though we let him go.Orlando was so excited and he was like on cloud 9 lol! He felt like a big shot for catching such an enormous turtle.With so much attention he kept fishing non stop.

Well I wanted to share my creation for this week beforehand.This time at Stamp With Fun the Challenge is following a colour pallet of Lilac and creme.

Now I know my roses are looking pink but there creme I swear lol!I'm showcasing Ashton with Letter from In2Stamp.OMG!do you know how much fun I had colouring this one.First off I LOVE COLOURING pleats so this one is right up my alley. Her dress looks blue but I used some lavender copic colors so it did give it that blue-ish/purple-ish touch,LOL!

I also used my MIC Laser cut Butterfly leaves that I got from my boss lady Zoe.Oh and the Heart on the upper left corner is from the Love Heart Swirls set.

I also kept track of my copics once again :)Whoohooo!

I created for the category Only Rubber stamps

I did a scene showcasing Hula Girl,Siren Of Pearls,The beach and Clam Shell.My scenery was so big there was no room left for DP or a sentiment LOL!I coloured with copics and I have to say the majority of my technique was simply flickering on my copics.

I kept up with the copic recipe this time and I hope you could see them lol! I'm getting better I swear lol! The Ciao are E95 and E53

Little Darlings #2 Favorite colour combo

Hi everybody.

I'm sorry that I just realised my posting should of gone up last night.I'm telling you I don't know where my head is at these past days.I logged in my puter and seen my teammies had theirs up and realised it's WEDNESDAY ALREADY!

Ok this is the deal with me these days.

SIGH....I'm feeling blue so so blue....

Two days ago my birdie was either stolen or got out of it's cage.The night prior I seen all his doors were locked.There was no way he could of opened it.The following morning I took him outside so he could enjoy the gorgeous day.When it was getting darker I decided to put him in.My heart dropped when I realised he wasn't in his cage and his door was open.My kids and I circled the neighborhood and kept ringing his toys hopefully he hear them and fly down.No sign of him nowhere.It started getting dark so I was hoping the next morning he would find his way back in his cage since I left it out.

When I woke up to check his cage there was nothing....

It finally hit me last night that I have lost him for ever and that's where I had to let it all out. My poor hubby was stuck hearing my weeping till the wee hours of the morning. Good thing he was told not to go to work because he got 1 or two hours of sleep lol!

Their was a tornado warning over here and so many towns lost power.Which explains my sobbing.I kept thinking my birdie(love bird named Ruby) was out there all alone and he was gonna dye! You all know how that goes....

I'm not feeling so happy but life goes on.This reminds me of a bad brake up lol! Out of know where I start balling when I start thinking if he's ok or WHERE IS HE!!??

SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I needed to get that out sorry guys lol!

I'm showcasing Going for a ride and coloured with DI(Distress Inks)by Tim Holtz.I've been getting so many emails asking me what are DI, LOL!Which is surprising I thought everybody knew what DI's were and specially coming from our fave man Tim Holtz ,lol! Well some of us do say Reinkers which is the same thing because they are the reinkers to the stamp pads.Anyways you could find this cutie at Love to Stamp store along with some gorgeous goodies. OH OH ONE MORE THING!! OMG Did ya see the latest MagnoliaInk Summer time 2011!? Evidently I was featured as an Inspirational BLOGGER!?

Yea Can you believe it because I'm still in denial lol! I haven't bought the magazine and to be honest.I don't know what I'm waiting for D' UH!

Well back to my card.This is still an unfinished creation because it has to be sat on a trinket box.I'll do that later I just didn't have time to squeeze that in:)

I used MIC Flying Balloon from the Carnival Collection to sit one of my maggies.

OK let me explain what I have done.I snipped the right balloons to mount them closer to my Maggie and used a pop dot behind them for dimension.To capture the colour reflection of the blue balloon on her face.I also had a little of the red balloon bounce off the blue one.Her red rose has casted light onto her purple dress and lastly her Annie curly Ginger hair reflects on the back balloons.

Phew that was a mouth full lol!

This is my base and btw everything is coloured with DI

My Maggie's that I have showcased on the card is Princess Tilda, Birthday Tilda,Secret Tilda and Ribbon hair Tilda that I picked up at the Magnolia-licous store.

Did I tell you she is mounted on clear acrylic sheet :)

I have another sneak Peek to share with you today!

We're on Little Darlings Sneak Peek Day 6!!!

Today I'm letting you peek at this ubber adorable little girl!! This stamp is called Crouquet.I have ever played this sport but if I get to wear that cute outfit,I'M ALL IN!!

For this card I kept it simple and as cleans as possible LOL! I think the image suffice.I truly love this little one.I'm gonna name her Ruby LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well at least in my mind lol!

start with your E18 and sit it where you want your shadows at and go from there.

I usually do start with the lightest but sometimes you could brake the "rules" LOL!

Hey everybody :)

I hope your week is going fine.So far It seems I'm coming to the end with whatever has hit me these past days.I'm feeling with more energy now and that's how I managed to pull this one off lol!

IT'S DAY 4 OF Little Darlings SNEAK PEEK!!!!

Are you guys loving the news images or what!!?? They bring a big smile to my face every time I admire my teammies creating with them.They are so much fun playing with them and COLOURING!

Today I'm giving you a peek of ,Nice to meet you and I couldn't resist giving him a colourful background.I thought him and MIC Wild flowers were a good match.What do you think? Like if they were meant to be huh, lol!?Oh and I thought the MIC Butterfly swirls coordinated perfectly with the theme so I have added them also :)

Believe it or not this card has lots of stickles on it but being the best photographer in town you don't get to see that, LOL!Let's see the ground, some of the flowers and the butterfly he's holding have stickles on them.

This picture is a bit off right? Just realised that GRRR!!

Lately all my pictures have been coming out un-steady due to my lack of energy or it could be that I'm under the influence of NON-ALCOHOLIC MEDICINE BAAAHAA! Shut up Cor, LOL!

Cor is now calling me Drunkie :) I might just need some vitamin C to get myself balanced once again.I'll get there eventually.

Stamp With Fun #115 Flowers and Pearls

Hi friends!

I'm a little late with my creation for Stamp With Fun.I've been so under the weather lately.

I just realised how I got sick! We got hit with a really really bad rainstorm the other day.
It so happens that day I had to take Orlando to the hospital for his surgery follow up. I had a huge umbrella but we still managed to get wet.I mean there was puddles everywhere!!! I'm talking about knee high than I guess there were ponds lol!

We were dripping wet from head to toes in the waiting room!!

It wasn't weird because EVERYBODY WAS COMING IN as if they jumped in the pool with clothes on.Well now I'm sick with a bad throat, lost my voice,bad cough,fever,sinuses and migraines.

You name it and I probably have it.

Though I can't get colouring off my head, tehee. All I could think about is what I'm doing next and so for...

SO MANY THINGS TO COME !! So better shape up .

ANYWHOO, I'm here to show you my latest creation featuring Daisy with Butterflies from In2Stamps. This little one is available now at the In2Stamp store.

I created this envelope card showcasing my Soooo Big image.I watercoloured this time with a more dark tones and yet keeping the fun summer colors.In my case a little touch of fall too lmbo! My flowers are from WOC and paper are from My minds Eye.

Morning friends!!!

Ok.... I know I've been MIA and how I miss my blogging buddies out there sigh...

Well guess what!! Ya know how my Orlando got really sick. He was rushed to the hospital on the 3rd visit to the hospital on a 2week period.I guess the third time was a charm because he got admitted right away.He was there for @3days and he did get surgery on his inner knee.All went well and he is now in SCHOOL FINALLY!!! That's too bad last day of school is Thursday,LOL!

I just dropped him off at school and when I walked in the main office the teacher's were so happy to see me around.They were so worried because they saw how bad he looked when it all started.

I'm glad it's all over with PHEW!!!!!!!!!!!! What a relief and I'm ready to get back on track.I need my mojo going gals so I'll soon to visit you for some eye candy.

On another note Eeeekkkkk!!! I'm super ubber excited and with great pleasure to be spotlighted in the Simply Sassy Blog (awhhh, screaming like a little girl here)

I love these images they are adorable aren't they!!! This is my latest creation colored with my copics this time around.(recipe at the bottom)

I used Butterflies and Pigtails for my easel circle card.A close up

I put a red/pink background so you could see the tulle since it's hard to catch that on a white background.

Uhhh!! do you like what I did the my MIC Fancy Swirls chipboard flourishes??!! Oh these are great I really love adding them to my cards.A little of small roses and pearls (wink wink) and that's all she wrote LOL!!!!!

Oh here are two pixs I wanted to share with you during Orlando's hospital stay.

My Lauren in the back eating my son's food lol!He wasn't eating that much so he was passing on everything.I guess from seeing so much food he lost his appetite.The hospital staff were freakin awsome and I sure did leave a recognition on their services.I was so happy he had a good experience with the staff and Dr's.I have no words to describe how attentive they were with not just Orlando but the whole family!

Here he was watching a movie either E.T ,Curious George or Narnia.He watched so many :)
