Saturated Canary Summer Swing

I'm baaaack :) Welcome once again and today I have a tent card for the new challenge over 

Saturated Canary and the theme is pretty pastels. 

I started coloring this little cutie "Summer swing" and felt she needed a bright sunny background and off I go with my Spectrum Noir pens and that's all she wrote (goofy laugh here). 

I had the urge to create a tent card since it's been a long time I've done one. It's pretty easy to do and there are a few tutes out there if you google it. My card is 6x6  in size and the image alone might be    5x 4 1/2 so since it took a great part of the card I had to altered the folding card at the bottom so instead of scoring every 1" I did it every 1/2 for a smaller fold to fit my card. Gosh I hope I mad sense.

Everything is colored with Spectrum Noir markers, so much fun times with them :)

and here I have her after I sprayed my whole colored image with Crafter's Companion Spray and Sparkle Iridescent. I tell you this stuff is magical! My other favorite is the Gold which I need to get me another bottle.

My first Wee image card with Ruby

Welcome back lol! Are you guys starting to get tired of me yet??lol!

Well if you said yes well sorry I need to come by and share my FIRST Wee image card I've ever done. I honestly don't know if I ever colored one before and If I did I didn't know it was a Wee image lol! 

Not that I'm complaining or anything like that. I'm just on cloud 9 that I colored a different sort from my regulars you know lol! I think the Wee line is sooooo sooo sooo pretty. I mean love this image, I like the detail , the hair, the eyes, the clothes lol! EVERYTHING!

I had a relaxing time coloring her and getting lost in the background clouds.All colored with my Spectrum Noir markers. It was very very relaxing coloring her I must say. Oh did I mentioned her name is Ruby all I she needs her AKA DIBBS LOL!!

I love love the MIC Laser chipboard and I like to color it at times but sometimes you just got to leave it raw as it comes :) and you likes my sentiment... from Little Darlings warm fuzzies All occasion sentiment line.

the inside ..... pretty much plain but yet coordinating the outside.

Welcome all and my new followers special hello :) I have for you another Magnolia card for 

the New Challenge for Magnolia-licious and Wee stamps challenge blog. The theme this time around is "Spring in the Air" While I kept the Spring colors going. I wanted to get a head start on the Mother's Day cards started. 

A small scene this time with Tilda with Daisy and Mushrooms and Tilda Decorate Easter.

Another shot of the pastel coloring and it's so light that it's coming out like white lol! 

The sky is light blue with pink hmmm... I better check my camera settings lol!  

but no it;s fine I wanted a light scheme. With lots of use of the blending marker.

The project I have for you today is an Easter basket with a card. I guess I could of done something else to change it up but she's holding a bag/basket of eggs. I might as well do a basket to go with the image right lol! I water colored my image with background with Distress Inks. This card has layer upon layer of paper, embellishments etc.. it's going a long way from me and needs to get there in mint condition :)

I filled my basket with these fun to create honeycomb eggs. I really like the bright fuchsia color, makes the basket stand out more.

Someone's thinking of Coffee

Good Morning all!! 

I'm back and today is my turn to share on the LD Inspiration blog.

  Ok so it's no surprise that I'm a big fan of coffee. I get very cheery cheesy when I see a character image holding a cuppa of chocolate or coffee awhhhh, lol!

Makes me smile all the time I see one.So because of the Inspiration of hot coffee. I decided to do another gift set and this time I used Saturated Canary Rubber stamp, "Cocoa"

I love to use the actual rubber stamps when I'm water coloring. I used DI to color my images this time. around.

I thought when you drink your coffee you always want to sit down and read ( at least that's what I tend to) so I thought might as well create a bookmark/Tag to go with.

here is my cup sleeve and BTW I used Little Darlings Caladium DP collection to alter the sleeve and tag.

Hmmm what to read next...

Hey I'm back again this week to share my latest and this time It's another challenge over 

Saturated Canary challenge blog. 

The theme for this one is"Read All about it" Include a text or create a bookmark or just inspired by your favorite book.

I've been wanting to color this cute librarian and couldn't pass the chance in giving her some color. I gave her this Jcrew/ Gap look lol! I would wear that outfit wouldn't you :)

Added some pretty flat flowers and embellishments for a touch of pretty and whala done.

Oh yes added a long ribbon and tied a charm at the bottom to hang off the book.

I colored my image with my Spectrum Noir markers and gave a different take on the background with variety size light to dark orbs around her. Recipe added at the bottom of the post.

This tag is going to one of my buddies but she won't know who until she gets it ha ha ha. I love her she is very crafty and HILARIOUS ((smiling big)) I hope she likes it.

Hello everyone and a warm welcome to my new followers!! I see you and thank you for following my corner.

Ok It's time for another fun challenge over Magnolia-licious &Wee challenge and the theme is quite easy. Something I'm so ready for and that is,"Spring".

I created a scene masking #586 Spring Background and the new #248 Tilda with Mr.Rooster.  All is watercolored with some stardust stickles here and there on the back sunset.

this is my scene before matting it down and as you can see I cut out the chick with it's egg to bring into the scene. I also colored my MIC round Leaves chipboard with my Spectrum Noir markers for a fun touch.Oh and do you see the center of my ribbon, I used a fancy jewel chipboard also from MIC, Sprayed with gold glitter from Crafters Companion.

and here is the inside of my card ((smiling to my followers who requested to see this)) I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO LOL!!! I know I want to keep it clean and of course space for a special note. I guess the more I do it. The ideas should get better ((gulp)) I hope lol!

I took off the tag so you could see it without it but it would of been nice to take a picture of the tag next to the card right, lol! I forgot lol!

All about the Boys with Lillyrose the Dragon

Hey Welcome back to my corner friends. What a weekend and I'm glad my sinuses and migraines are almost about gone ugh! They certainly throw me off schedule. 

A new Challenge over Magnolia-licious & Wee stamps blog.The theme is "All about Boys". 

Oh I had something totally different but didn't like the coloring result so I started all over after 3 hrs into my original :(

When I saw Lilly here I thought... she could be used as a boy,why not!!?? I don't see any feminine qualities to her but her name right lol. Now this is a versatile stamp right!

 It was fun challenging myself to color a no line technique on her I mean him. Well we need to find a name for him now.

Lilly is a boy today but really she's a girl shhhhh! Her name is LillyRose the Dragon from the Princes and Princesses 2012 Magnolia Collection.

With some cute balloon cuts and cool paper what else do we need.I always get stuck doing boy cards but I'm sure they wouldn't like flowers and all the glitz on their cards anyways.

and the inside of my card,YEAH!! I did the inside lol! Simple and colorful.
